The income from dairying is more and more subject to market rules and changing international conditions. Precise feeding and less labour can contribute to reduce costs. This was also the initial idea of our senior director, Franz Wasserbauer to develop the first robotic feeder about 30 years ago. The increase of the milk yield was a welcome additional side order.
